Mixed Creations
Working with lots of different materials depending on what my current commission calls for -or which whim takes me at the time, there's usually a broad range of practical projects on the go at any given moment.
Themes tend to sit around dystopian, steam punk, games culture, cult TV/cinema and destruction with a splash of the macabre thrown in so you can expect to find anything from craft items, costume pieces and props to 2D / 3D artworks in metal, wood, glass, ceramics, paint or whatever else takes my fancy.
I also create custom celebration cakes for those local to the Brighton & Hove area too.
I am always interested in making new pieces and exploring new mediums so get in touch if you have a concept you want to discuss or fill out some details to commission a piece/series.

After good a few months without, I have now appropriated a larger workshop so new works will be on the way shortly.

When 2 great celebrations combine sometimes macabre things happen!
For this project the inspiration is dark haunting Vs slasher, trying to capture the menace of dark shadowy ghouls with the glorious gore of a horror bloodbath, all on a delicious chocolate cake base.

Piano Dojo Cake
This wedding cake may seem quite quite mad... and it is, it's full of in jokes and touches to amuse the couple and their friends, and represent who they are as a couple and not what marriage is as an institution.
For this Japan obsessed, music and manga loving couple this cake makes the perfect tribute to their relationship.

A fallout inspired test plaque.
It is made from stainless steel and custom aged for a weathered 'found in the wastes' look.
Halloween Pumpkins
It may be considered an American tradition but carving your will into a pumpkin is a fun and cheap way to get your halloween groove on.
Personally I prefer a knarly gourd as it helps add character to the piece.
I never start with a plan, I just give it a good stare for a while until something speaks to me and then go from there
My best advice is to use full thickness cuts all the way through to a minimum, as thining the flesh gives a good glow from the light which you can make contrast with solid and holes

This hand engraved glass picture has taken inspiration from the anonymous rallys that took place in various countries, the piece has blank slogans to represent the changing ideals of this facinating group and their capacity to be both destructive and socially resposible in pushing for change
When a group might troll epileptics one week and give real support and enablement to freeing a population fighting facism another it makes them a potentially awe inspiring or terrifying group
